We traveled all day on Thursday and reached our destination at about 5:30 PM. We had traveled from Kearney, Neb. through Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska through Counsel Bluff and Des Moines, Iowa. At Coralville by Iowa City we turned south traveling to Keokuk, Iowa where we crossed the Mississippi into Illinois and up the river to Nauvoo. AT LAST!! THIS IS THE LANE INTO OUR NEW HOME.
We had traveled 1248 miles from when we had left home and this will be our HOME ON THE LANE IN NAUVOO, ILL. for the next
6 months. We are camped in the middle of our friends and neighbors who came with us. This is a very nice RV Park provided by the mission here with a nice laundry and shower facility very close by. We have full hook ups and the yards are taken care of also as part of the rent we pay which is very reasonable. There are about 18 spaces with trailers in about 12 at this time. We have great neighbors who all came to welcome us as we pulled in. The people here are great, as we pulled in to Nauvoo we were met by a couple who waved us on to lead us to the RV lot.
